1/2 lb lean ground beef
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 & 3/4 cup beef broth
4 cups tomato juice
1 cup water
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp granulated sugar
5 cups shredded cabbage, packed
Recipe
Scramble-fry ground beef in frying pan until brown.
Put remaining ingredients into a large pot. Add ground beef. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes
Makes about 8 cups.
