2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp dried basil
3/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Pepper to taste
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper, or more to taste
1 1/2 LB boneless, skinless chicken breast
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
Recipe
Combine seasoning in a large plastic bag. Cut chicken into 1/2-inch strips & shake, half at a time to coast the chicken. Cook the chicken in 2 Tbsp butter in a large iron skillet until done, turning as needed to brown, about 10 minutes. Remove to paper towel to cool.
SERVING TIPS: Chill the chicken strips & serve; great with a ranch-style dip
