Makes 18 appetizers
3 3 oz. cans Potted Meat
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup salad dressing
2 tbsp. onion, diced
1/4 tsp. dill weed
salt and pepper to taste
1 loaf unsliced French breadRecipe
Combine the first six ingredients, mix well. Remove crust from bread and slice lengthwise 3/8" thick. Spread filling on each slice of bread and roll it up. Wrap roll in plastic wrap and chill for 2 hours. Slice and serve.
Variation: In place of French bread, cut crust off 4 slices of sandwich bread. Spread filling on bread and stack. After chilling, slice into 1/2" strips.
