Recipe Introduction
Give supper old-fashioned comfort with these easy-mix sour cream biscuits. Serve the biscuits warm, with butter and honey or Hungry Jack® Microwave Ready Syrup.
List of Ingredients
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon water
1 cup Hungry Jack® Complete Pancake & Waffle Mix (Just Add Water)Recipe
1. Heat oven to 400°F. Grease cookie sheet. In small bowl, combine sour cream and water; blend well. Add pancake mix; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
2. Bake at 400°F. for 8 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
Serving size:
8 biscuits
Tips:
For appetizers, stir 2 oz. (1/2 cup) shredded cheese or 1/4 cup real bacon pieces into dough. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. If desired, top with sliced olives or mushrooms. Bake at 400°F. for 7 to 9 minutes or until lightly browned. 24 appetizers.
High Altitude:
Bake at 425°F. for 8 to 12 minutes.
