Easy Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

1 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
3 (10-ounce) packages frozen cut broccoli
8 ounces (2 cups) grated sharp cheddar cheese
salt
ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 350º
Butter a 13x9x2 baking dish
In a medium bowl, whisk together condensed soup, mayonnaise, beaten egg, and chopped onion
In large mixing bowl break up frozen broccoli. Then add soup mixture and mix well
Stir in cheese and pour into baking dish. Season to taste with salt and pepper
Bake at 350º for 45 minutes to 1 hour
Serves 6-8
