Stew 'N Corn Bread Casserole

1 cup green pepper, cut in ½-inch chunks
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 24-oz. can Beef Stew
1 15-oz. can kidney beans, drained
1 8¼-oz. can tomatoes, chopped, drained
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 15-oz. package corn bread mix, mixed according to package directionsRecipe
Heat oven to 425°F. Cook green pepper in butter or margarine 5 minutes; drain. Combine green pepper, stew, kidney beans, tomatoes and chili powder; pour into lightly greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Spread corn bread mix on top. Bake at 425°F, 20 minutes.
