Baked Penne & Ham
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
1 package (1.8 ounces) white sauce mix
2 cups milk
1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded fontina cheese, divided
3 cups cooked penne pasta (2 cups uncooked)
2 cups French's® French Fried Onions, divided
1 cup diced boiled ham
1/3 cup chopped oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained
1/2 cup frozen peas
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 12 minutes
1. Prepare white sauce mix according to package directions using 2 cups milk. Stir in 1 cup cheese. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.
2. Combine pasta, 1 cup French Fried Onions, ham, tomatoes and peas in large bowl. Pour cheese sauce over all and toss to coat. Transfer to shallow 2-quart microwave-safe dish.
3. Microwave, covered, on HIGH 5 minutes. Stir. Sprinkle with remaining onions and cheese. Microwave on HIGH 3 minutes or cheese is melted and onions are golden.
