Oven Barbecue Steaks

List of Ingredients
3 lb Round steak; 1" thick
2 tb Vegetable oil
1/2 c Onions; chopped
3/4 c Catsup
1/2 c Vinegar
3/4 c Water
1 tb Brown sugar
1 tb Prepared mustard
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1/4 ts Salt
1/8 ts Black pepper
Recipe
Cut steak into 10 equal portions. Pour oil in skillet. Brown each piece of steak on both sides. Transfer steaks to slow cooker. Add onions to oil in the skillet and brown lightly. Add rest of ingredients to make barbecue sauce and simmer 5 minutes. Pour sauce over steaks. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Slice meat and return to slow cooker for 1 hour. Serve on buns.
