Prepare PEPPER STEAK 1 *
1 Pkg (10 oz) mixed salad greens
1 cup cherry tomatoes cut in half
1 1/2 cup sliced seedless cucumber
4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
6 Tbsp garlic salad dressing of choice
1/2 cup green seedless grapes, cut in half, optional
Greek olives to taste
Recipe
Slice steak into thin strips. Combine rest of ingredients with the steak tossing to coat with the salad dressing. Serve the salad with strips of the steak arranged on top.
SERVINGS: 4 TIME: 30 minutes
SERVING TIPS: Instead of using pepper steak try left over prime rib or pork loin roast.
PEPPER STEAK 1 *
1 1/4 lb flank steak
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp coarsely ground pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp olive oil
Heat oil in a heavy skillet. Combine salt, pepper & garlic & pack half the mixture on one side of the steak, cover with wax paper & pound in with a wooden mallet, turn & do the same to the other side. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes per side. Remove and allow juices to set. Serve.
