Herbed Pecan Rub

1/2 c Pecans -- broken
3 Cloves garlic -- cut up
1/2 c Fresh oregano
1/2 c Fresh thyme
1/2 ts Lemon peel -- finely Shredded
1/2 ts Black pepper
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 c Cooking oil
In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients EXCEPT oil. Cover and blend several times, scaping sides, until a paste forms. With machine running, gradually add oil until mixture forms a paste. Rub onto fish or chicken.
Makes 1/2 cup, enough for 3 pounds of meat.
