    Would also be good substituted with 2 cans apples and spice cake, or 2 cans of peaches with yellow cake mix.

    List of Ingredients




    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 1/2 sticks butter/margarine, melted
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 can crushed pineapple in juice

    Recipe



    Spray large (9x12) casserole dish with nonstick spray. Add cherry filling and pineapple (undrained). Spread dry cake mix over fruit. Drizzle melted butter over cake mix and poke 6-10 times with a knife. Bake at 350 for 30-40mins until brown and bubbly. Optional: add chopped pecans or coconut (or both) the last 10mins of cooking time.
