4 tbsp. pan drippings and crust
4 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups milk
salt and pepper to tasteRecipe
Heat pan drippings and crysty brown bits left over from frying chicken. Gradually add flour, stirring well, until mixture begins to turn brown. Slowly add water and milk and stir until mixture thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste.
