1 pound confectioners' sugar (powdered sugar)
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup milk
1/4 pound butter or margarine (1 stick)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped nutsRecipe
Lightly grease a 8-inch square pan. Set aside.
Place confectioners' sugar and cocoa in a medium-sized, heat
resistant, non-metallic mixing bowl. Stir to combine. Add milk
and butter to sugar-cocoa mixture. DO NOT STIR. Heat,
uncovered, on FULL POWER for 2 minutes.
After cooking, stir just to combine ingredients. Add vanilla and
nuts. Stir until blended. Pour into prepared pan and
refrigerate for 1 hour before cutting and serving.
Makes 2 to 3 dozen squares.
