    Mom always made this at Christmas and it is really good1

    List of Ingredients




    2 Cup sugar
    2 cup water
    1 cup red wine (any kind)
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 teaspoon cloves
    1 teaspoon nutmeg
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 pound dates
    1 pound raisins
    1 pound fruit cake mix


    Recipe



    Boil above ingredients 5 minutes and cool.
    Add:
    3 cups flour
    1 cup pecans
    1 teaspoon baking soda.
    Bake in whatever kind or pans you want.
    Bake at 350 1 hour or until tested done.
