Fluffy Pineapple Squares

4 cups flour
1 pound butter
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cup drained crushed pineapple
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoon cornstarch
powdered sugarRecipe
Cut butter into flour. Add sour cream amd vanilla. Refrigerate 2 hours.
Meanwhile cook pineapple, sugar and cornstarch over medium heat. Be sure to stir constantly till thick and clear.
Heat oven to 325.
Roll our 1/2 the dough and place in bottom of jelly roll pan. Add cooked filling and cover with other half of rolled out dough.
Bake 325 for 55 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered shgar and cut in squares. Refrigerate if not used in a short time.
