I serve this as a side dish to accompany the meats.
List of Ingredients
8 Large green apples
3/4 Cup Brown sugar, packed
1/2 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Rolled Oats, not instant, the old fashioned kind
1/2 Cup of Butter
3/4 Teaspoon of cinnamon
Recipe
Peel and slice the apples into a baking dish.
Combine the sugar, flour, rolled oats, cinnamon and butter, blend with a pastry blender until crumbly in consistency.
Pour over the apples.
Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 375 until brown and crisp. Or longer.
