4 lbs beef roast (rump, sirloin tip, or my favorite, Boston (chuck))
1 10 1/2 oz can beef broth
1 10 1/2 oz can French onion soup
1 12 oz can beer
French rolls
Recipe
Place roast in slow cooker; add beef broth, onion soup and beer.
Cook on Low for 7 hours. (Note: cooking time may vary according to your cooker, since the newer ones cook hotter and faster)
Slice meat on diagonal; place on rolls. Serve with sauce for dipping.
