Creamed Cabbage

List of Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large head of cabbage shredded and cored
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions
- Cook bacon till crisp, cool
- in bacon fat add flour, butter and salt, whisk till all dissolved
- shred finely the cabbage in the food processor
- add cabbage to bacon mixture, stir occasionally and cover till the cabbage is crisp tender about 15 min.
- Crumble the bacon over the cabbage mixture, add the sour cream and stir, salt and pepper to taste, then add the brown sugar stir to combine
- Serves 6
