Hot Wine Punch

2 cups tea
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons whole cloves
1 tablespoon cardamom
4 cinnamon sticks
1 lemon
1 orange
juice of 1 lemon
1 bottle dry red wine
1 bottle sweet white wine
1 cup brandy or vodka
1/2 cup orange liqueur
Recipe
Heat the tea, sugar, cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon sticks. Simmer for 20 minutes on a low flame. Peel and slice the lemon and orange, and add them to the tea mixture. Let sit until cold. Before serving, add the alcohol. Heat, being careful not to bring to a boil. Serve warm or hot.
