Herbed Glazed Bacon

1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 tespoon ground allspice
1 pound thick-clied bacon ( about 12 slices)
Recipe
1. In shallow bowl or pie plate, stir together brown sugar, pepper , thyme, sage, salt and allspice. Add bacon and dredge sliceso n bot hsides in spice mixture, then rub it in. Refrigerate bacon until ready to cook.
2. Preheat oven to 400 F. Line jelly-roll pan with aluminum foil.
3. Arrange slices in one layer in pan and bake turning 25 mnutes, or until bacon is golden brown and sugar mixture has caramelized. Serve hot.
