1 pkg. German Chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted margarine
1 small can evaporated milk
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips



Recipe



Melt carmaels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk (1/2 can). Mix together cake mix, margarine, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts. Press 1/2 of cake mixture into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust. Pour on caramel mixture. Dab remaining dough over caramel layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes.

When cooled, cut into squares.
