Baked Chicken & Rice

List of Ingredients
1 cup UNCOOKED rice {either white or brown ~ I used white}
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cans water
1 frying chicken, cut up (I used boneless skinless breasts}
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
salt/pepper to tasteRecipe
Preheat oven to 400°
Spread rice in a buttered or sprayed baking dish. Salt and pepper chicken as desired and arrange over the rice. Spread soup over chicken & rice and sprinkle with onion soup mix. Pour water over all.
Cover tightly & bake at 400° for 20 minutes. Uncover, reduce heat to 300° & bake 1½ hours longer.
