Pretty Peppermint Bark

7 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
6 Tbs heavy cream
3/4 tsp. peppermint extract
20 oz. white chocolate
5 oz. crushed candy canes
Recipe
Carefully melt white chocolate over double boiler. Spread 2/3 of mixture on greased foiled lined ( 9 x 12 inches marked ) cookie sheet. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup crushed candy canes. Chill. Carefully melt the semisweet chocolate, cream and extract and cool for 5 minutes. Spread carefully over the white chocolate and chill set about 25 minutes. Gently reheat remaining white chocolate and spread over the set chocolate and sprinkle with the remainder of the crushed candy canes. Chill at least 20 minutes and cut into about 36 pieces.
