PECAN TREATS
List of Ingredients
1 3-ounce pkg. cream cheese -- softened
1 cup flour
1 stick butter
Filling:
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1 egg -- beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)
Recipe
Mix together with hands: cream cheese, flour and butter, and make a ball the size of a walnut. Press into cups, making a tart (midget cupcake pans). Put filling into tarts and bake at 350F for 25 minutes (slightly less, ovens may vary).
