BLACKBERRY DESSERT

CRUST:
1 sticks butter [or margarine]
3/4 C. flour
FILLING
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 C.confectioners' sugar
1/8 C. milk
TOPPING
1 C. sugar
1/4 C. water
2 C. blackberries
3 Tbs. cornstarch
whipped topping
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350°.
Melt butter and mix well with flour. press into baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool. Mix together ingredients for filling and pour over cooled crust. For the topping, mix together sugar, water, blackberries and cornstarch (I mix the sugar and cornstarch before I add the water) in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook 3 minutes. Cool, pour on top of cream cheese layer, and spread evenly. Top with whipped topping. Refrigerate
