Chicken Gravy Base

1 1/3 cups nonfat dry milk powder
3/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons chicken bouillon granules
1/4 teaspoon sage
1/2 cup butter
1/8 teaspoon yellow food coloring
Recipe
Combine dry ingredients. Cut in butter and food coloring until cornmeal
texture is achieved.
Store air tight in refrigerator up to 2 months.
Makes 3 cups which will equal 6 cups gravy.
To Make Chicken Gravy:
In saucepan blend 1 cup cold water into 1/2 cup chicken gravy base. Cook and
stir until thick and bubbly. Cook 1 minute more. Makes 1 cup gravy.
