CRUST:
1 1/2 cups potato flakes
8 oz sour cream
2/3 cup water
FILLING:
2 lb ground beef
2 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
TOPPING:
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup chopped tomato
1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped black olives
2 cups slightly crushed nacho flavored tortilla chips
Taco sauce (optional)
Recipe
Combine crust ingredients; press into 9x13 inch pan. Bake in preheated oven at 350*F for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. While crust is baking, prepare filling.
FILLING: Brown beef and drain. Add seasoning mix and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer for 15 minutes. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Layer on toppings; cut into squares. May be served with taco sauce if you wish.
