Basic Beeswax Hand Cream

1/2 cup coconut oil

1/2 cup almond oil

3/4 oz beeswax

1/2 cup aloe vera gel

1/2 cup luke warm distilled water

30-50 drops of essential oil

2 vitamin E capsules ( contents)



Recipe



Melt the oils and beeswax just until the beeswax melts. I do thisin a Pyrex measuring cup sitting in hot simmering water. Remove the cup from the water and let it cool for few minutes just until the beeswax starts to harden. Mix the warm water and aloe gel. Add this to a bowl or blender. Slowly add the beeswax/ oil mixture. It will start to thicken up after 3/4 of the oil has been added. Keep adding the rest until it becomes to thick to add any more. Add the essential oil and stir. Spoon into jars.



I had this recipe long before I knew anything about Pheno-nip, Germaben, etc. It would be advisable to use something like this to keep it from going bad.
