List of Ingredients
1 large onion, thinly sliced
4-5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cans (6 ounces each) tomato paste
8 ounces fresh mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon basil
1 bay leaf
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup water
Recipe
Place onion in crock pot first. Add chicken pieces.
In a separate bowl stir together tomato paste, mushrooms, salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, basil, bay leaf, wine and water. Pour over chicken. Cover; cook on low 7-9 hours. Serve chicken over hot spaghetti or vermicelli.
Serves four to five.
