4 cups cooked and drained chickpeas or canned chickpeas
1 or 2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon chili powder or seasoning of choice
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a glass measuring cup combine garlic with olive oil. Microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds. Allow to stand a few minutes, and then remove the garlic.
In a jellyroll pan just large enough to hold the chickpeas in one layer, toss the oil with the chickpeas. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until they are browned slightly. Sprinkle with chili powder or seasoning of choice.
