    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. coconut
    1 1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1c. Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 (12 oz.) box Rice or Corn Chex

    Recipe



    Boil butter, karo, and sugar for 1 minute; remove from heat and add soda.

    Stir well, pour over Chex, coconut, and almonds.

    Spread on 2 buttered cookie sheets and bake at 250 for 5 minutes.
