Frosty Orange Pie

1 graham cracker pie crust
1 sm. orange jello
1 (8 0z) cn. mandarin oranges, drain and reserve juice
1 pint vanilla ice-cream, softned
1 C. heavy cream, whipped OR 2 C. cool whipRecipe
Add enough water to the reserved juice to make 1 cup. Put in sm. saucepan and bring to a boil, remove from heat and add the pkg. of jello, mix until dissolved. Stir in the ice-cream. Let set in fridge til thickned, about 1/2 hour. Then stir in orange slices. Pile into the pie shell and let set. Then spread whipped cream on top and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
