- 3/4 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3/4 pound sea scallops
- 1 package McCormick Golden Dipt Seafood Fry Mix
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- McCormicks Golden Dipt Seafood Cocktail Sauce, if desired
Instructions
- Heat oil to 375 degrees in a heavy skillet. Moisten seafood with water; shake off excess. Pour Fry Mix into plastic bag. Shake moistened seafood in bag until evenly coated, a few pieces at a time. Fry 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Remove and drain. Serve with cocktail sauce, if desired.
