Beef: Beef And Broccoli

- 1 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3/4 pound thin beef strips
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets, or 1 (16 ounce bag frozen)
- 1 package brown gravy mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Add beef strips; saute 3 to 4 minutes; add in broccoli.
- Combine gravy mix, water and black pepper. Pour over beef mixture. Stir and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 5 to 8 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
- Makes 4 (1 cup servings)
- I added 1 (4 ounce) can of mushroom pieces and stems.
