    Tomato Basil Oregano Chicken Pasta

    Recipe Introduction

    I really enjoy this one.

    List of Ingredients

    Water
    1 box (375g) wholegrain rotini pasta
    1 large can tomato juice (salt reduced)
    1 can (8oz) Campbell's tomato with basil & oregano soup
    (no added water)
    4 chicken breasts, cooked, cubed.
    Frozen mixed vegetables (optional).


    Recipe

    Boil water. Cook pasta until al-dente. Drain.
    Blend the tomato juice with the soup (no water added).
    In a large pot, combine pasta, tomato juice/soup.
    Let sit in the refrigerator until overnight. This allows the pasta to absorb some of the sauce and also thickens the sauce.
    Divide into 8 individual bowls.
    Add 1/8 (1/2 breast) of the cubed chicken to each bowl.
    Add some frozen mixed vegetables to each bowl (optional).
    Freeze.
    Heat in a skillet or pot on the stove, set heat to 4. Use a lid or foil to keep the steam in.
    Serve hot. You may add some sweet basil when serving.
