1 c. "Herman" starter
1 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. each baking soda and salt
1 egg
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 to 3/4 c. milk (depending on thickness desired)Recipe
Mix well all ingredients. Using scant 1/4 cup batter per pancake, bake on well greased, preheated griddle or skillet about 3 minutes or until tops are bubbly and edges brown. Turn; bake other side about 3 minutes or until golden. Makes 10 large pancakes.
