AMISH CAKE

Recipe Introduction
There are two secrets to the success of this cake:
1. DO NOT use the mixer
2. DO NOT grease the Pan.
List of Ingredients
CAKE:
2 c. all purpose flour
2 c. sugar
2 tbl. baking soda . . .
mix and add...
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 can (1-lb. 4-oz.) crushed pineapple- DO NOT DRAIN JUICE
TOPPING:
Mix together the following. . .
1/2 C. OLEO margarine
1 - 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1--8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. whipping creamRecipe
MIX all cake ingredients together with spoon in 9x13" pan.
BAKE at 350°F for 45 minutes. Let it completely cool. When cool, spread on topping, slice and serve.
