Hush Puppy Bacon Onion Biscuits

List of Ingredients




2 cups bisquick or other biscuit mix
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2/3 to 1 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 or more slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled into batter

Recipe



Heat oven to 450°F. Mix above ingredients to form a soft dough. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet or fill 9 muffin cups in a muffin pan. Bake for 8-15 minutes (depending on oven). Immediately brush tops of biscuits with the following mixture: 2 tablespoons butter with 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder.
