Dump Cake I
20 ounce can crushed pineapple in juice
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
4 ounces butter
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish. Spread pineapple on bottom. Spread pie filling evenly over pineapple. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pie filling. Cut the butter into small pieces and place evenly over the cake mix (or melt it and drizzle over cake mix). Do not mix. Bake 45-55 minutes, or until the top is browned. Cut into squares to serve.

*** I use the same basic recipe as Karen except that I also sprinkle with coconut and chopped nuts before drizzling with the butter (I used 1 1/2 to 2 sticks).
*** I have also omitted the pineapple and used 2 cans of pie filling (cherry) with chocolate or German chocolate cake mix (omitting the coconut, but using the chopped nuts). Spice Cake mix and Apple pie filling is wonderful. I've experimented with just about every different cake mix flavor and all have been great. Just follow your tastes and enjoy!

Dump Cake II
1 large can of any fruit pie filling.
1 box of jiffy yellow cake mix
1 stick of butter
dump the fruit pie filling into any pan
dump the yellow cake mix on top
slice the butter into pats and dump on the top
bake for 45 minutes at 350. take out of oven and
dump your favorite ice cream on top.
