Hi...This is a great cake....I took it to church as a coffee cake though for coffee hour...It is very old-fashioned type cake ...very dense, but really good! The recipes calls for 2 cups of peeled apples....I chopped them. enjoy! hugs, peg
List of Ingredients
2 cup Sugar
1 cup Vegetable Oil
3 Eggs
2 teaspoon Vanilla
1 1/4 cup Pecans
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoon Apple Pie Spice
2 cups Peeled Apples (about 2 medium apples, chopped)
3 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking SodaRecipe
Combine sugar, oil, egg and vanilla in a bowl. Beat for 1 minutes. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and apple pie spice. Gradually add flour mixture to the sugar mixture, beat on low speed until mixed. Stir in apples and pecans. Spoon into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at
325°F for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cool 15 minutes and remove from the pan.
