Aunt Tootsie’s Fruitcake Cookies

1/2 pound candied cherries (I use red and green)
1/2 pound candied pineapple
1/2 cup of flour
1 pinch of salt
1 can coconut (3 1/2 ozs.)
2 cups of chopped nuts
1 can of sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated) Recipe
Dredge fruit in flour. Add salt, coconut, and nuts. Add condensed milk and mix thoroughly by hand. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet or use nonstick paper. Bake 25-30 minutes in a preheated 275º oven. Store cooled cookies in an airtight container.
