These are a fun and festive cookie to make for birthdays and celebrations. Who doesn't love sprinkles in their cookies? You could easily make funfetti cookies from a box, but it makes it that much more special when it's from scratch. I wouldn't say these taste like the funfetti cookies from the box. They're more like those butter cookies covered in sprinkles that you get from the grocery store bakery. Recipe from Yammie's Noshery.

* 1 1/4 cup sugar
* 2 teaspoons vanilla
* 1 teaspoon imitation butter flavor
* 1 egg
* 2 cups cake flour
* 2/3 all-purpose flour
* 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 cup colored sprinkles (I used jimmies)
* More sprinkles for rolling (I used nonpareils)
Recipe
1. Cream together the butter and sugar.
2. Stir in the vanilla, butter flavor, and egg.
