Recipe Introduction


I think this variation on "crescent cookies" aka "russian teacakes" makes the best-tasting cookies of all.


List of Ingredients




Cream:
2 sticks lightly salted butter (not sweet)
1/4 c. sugar

Add:
1 c. ground walnuts
1 t. vanilla
2 c. flour

Recipe



Roll level teaspoons of dough into balls and roll in powdered sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets (can be placed less than 1" apart) at 325°F about 25 minutes; cool. Roll in sugar again.
