    List of Ingredients




    3/4 cup melted butter (1 1/2 sticks)
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 large egg or 2 medium beaten with a fork
    1/4 cup molasses (cup sprayed with pam)
    2 teas soda
    1/2 tea. salt
    2 teas. ground ginger
    2 1/4 cups flour
    1/2 cup white sugar ( in a bowl for later)

    Melt butter and mix in sugar let mixture cool and then add eggs and mix, add soda, molasses, salt, and ginger. Mix thoroughly add flour and mix in. Chill dough overnight. Roll dough into walnut sized balls and place in the bowl of white sugar and coat. Place on a greased cookie
    sheet 12 to a standard sheet, flatten and bake in a 375 oven 10-12 minutes or until nicely browned Remove immediately and place on a wire rack.
