1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 C sour cream
1 T milk (or more if want smoother for chips)
1 1/2 t Worcestershire sauce
3 T garlic
1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 t salt, or to taste
pinch pepper, if desired
Hint: With a kitchen shears, cut the bacon in small pieces before frying. No need to crumble after cooking then.
Recipe
Blend together with a hand mixer all the ingredients. Make at least a day ahead of serving. Store in the refrigerator, of course.
OTHER VARIATIONS/IDEAS:
* Leave out the bacon
* Stir in prepared horseradish
* Add sauteed onion or onion powder
* Stir in shredded mozzarella and/or cheddar cheese
* Leave out milk and spread on rye crisp, pita chips, etc.
* Spread on mini-rye bread and top with slice of cucumber
or tomato
* Stir in chopped tomatoes
