Recipe Introduction


A while ago, I dropped my recipe box of index cards and they scattered all over the floor, and got all mixed up when I picked them up...what a mess. I am s-l-o-w-l-y getting them sorted back again. I have been copying a few at a time to my own group, morb, while sorting them back into the box. then it happened again...oh well. At least I know that there is a recipe in the box, just have to hunt it up...always interesting what I find. I mostly have deserts and sweets in my box, it's the largest section...now, don't think file box, like those that are in the office section. Think larger, with two drawers. One is full; the other 1/2 full, most of which I got from my mom's recipe box, which was even larger. Mom raised the three of us kids out of that box. Anyway, the recipe I wanted to share is:



List of Ingredients




1/2 T Sugar
1/2 small bottle Catsup
1 1/2 T Yellow Mustard
1 1/2 T Vinegar
1/2 lb Ground Beef
1/2 Onion, diced

Recipe



In a little oil, saute the onions until translucent but not wilted. Brown beef, then add rest of the ingredients, stirring in well. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and continue stirring. Spoon onto buttered buns and serve.
