2 eggs
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup semi sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1 - 9 inch unbaked pie shell
Whipped cream or ice cream, optional
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 325°F. In large bowl, beat eggs at high speed until foamy, about 3 minutes. Beat flour in, granulated sugar and brown sugar until well blended. Beat in butter. Stir in chocolate morsels and walnuts. Pour into pie shell. Bake 55-60 minutes until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean and top is golden brown. Cool completely. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. You can use a frozen pie shell. Deep dish style, thaw and cook on cookie sheet, increase baking time by 10 minutes.
