    My Grandmother much preferred Pie to cakes. Making pie crust that are flaky and light has always been a struggle for me. Mom sent me this crust recipe many years ago.

    2 C Flour
    1 3/4 C Crisco shortening
    1 T Sugar
    2 t Salt
    1 T Vinegar
    1 egg
    1/2 C Water

    Recipe



    Mix first four with a fork. In a separate dish, eat remaining ingredients. Combine the two stirring with a fork until moist. With hands, mold dough into a ball" chill 15 minutes before rolling. it can be left in the fridge up to 3 days or frozen until ready to use. Can take out and roll at once.
