    Source of Recipe

    Recipe Introduction

A friend of mine gave me this recipe and said every time she makes it the whole house smells like pizza hut, so I decided to give it a try---Love it. My 3 children can each have their own dough for their crust and make their own just the way they want it, so I know they will eat it.

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/3 c. warm water (105°F)
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. nonfat dry milk
    2 Tbl. vegetable oil(for dough)
    1/2 tsp. salt
9 oz. vegetable oil (for pans-3 oz. each)
    4 c. flour
    1 Tbl. sugar
    butter flavored Pam Spray

    Sauce
    1-8oz. can tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. dry basil
    1 tsp. dry oregano
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. marjoram

    Recipe

Put yeast, sugar, salt, and dry milk in a large (2qt.) bowl. Add water and stir to mix well. Allow to sit for 2 minutes. Add oil and stir again. Add flour and stir until dough forms and flour is absorbed. Turn out onto a flat surface and knead for about 10 minutes. Divide into 3 balls (or however many small pizzas, or larger balls for larger pizzas). In 3-9" pans, put 3 oz. of oil making sure it's evenly spread. Using a rolling pin, roll out each dough ball to about a 9" circle. Place in pans. Spray the outer edge of dough with Pam. Cover, place in a warm area and let rise for about 1-1 1/2 hours.

    Sauce:
Combine ingredients and let sit for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 475°F. Spoon 1/3 of the sauce (or the amount of sauce you desire per crust) on dough to within 1" of the edge. Place toppings of your choice in this order:

    sauce
    cheese
    pepperoni or ham
    vegetables
    cooked ground sausage or beef
    top with cheese

Cook until cheese is bubbling and the outer crust is brown.
