2 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup unsulfured molasses
2 cup buttermilk
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease and flour loaf pan. In a large bowl, stir together dry ingredients. Carefully stir in remaining ingredients until just combined. Pour batter into loaf pan and bake in center oven rack for about 1 hour or until tester comes out clean. Cool before turning out and slicing.
